FAQ

When and where is the wedding again?

Our wedding ceremony will be at the Edward Anne Estate (3919 Bavaria Rd, Chaska, MN 55318) at 4pm. Plan to arrive by 3:30-3:45pm to ensure you're able to get seated on time. Our coordinators will not allow latecomers to interrupt the ceremony.

Are you providing a shuttle to the wedding?

Yes! We will provide a shuttle service from the Residence Inn (The Depot) and Renaissance (The Depot) to the venue, which departs at 2:30pm. The bus will park in the roundabout area in between both hotels (ask your concierge for help finding the pickup area).

We will have three shuttles that will take you back to both hotels at the end of the evening at 9:00pm, 10:30pm, & 12:00am.

Does the venue have parking if I plan to drive?

Yes! You can park for free overnight at the venue if you need. They also offer valet services.

Speaking of party...what's the bar/drinks situation?

We will be providing an open bar for cocktail hour (4:30-6:00pm). Then we'll transition to wine service for dinner, including sparkling wine to toast with during speeches. After food, open bar will re-open for a while longer as the dancing gets started (8:00-9:30pm), then will transition to a cash bar for the rest of the evening.

What should I do if I have a dietary restriction?

We have given our food vendor a complete list of dinner preferences & dietary restrictions, which will be accounted for with your plated meals. For the hors d'oeuvres if you're ever uncertain, please inquire with the staff about the dish to ensure that there aren't any surprises.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

On the morning of the wedding, we will meet to decide whether it can be held inside or outside, based on inclement weather. If it's a gorgeous day with no storms on the horizon, then assume that the ceremony is outdoors.

The rest of the event will be a combination of inside and outside, based on your comfort and preference.

Can I bring a +1?

If you were given a +1 in your RSVP, and you RSVP'd "yes" for them, then of course! We ask that you do not bring any unexpected guests for the wedding day, as we will not be able to host or feed them.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

The wedding attire is requested to be semi-formal. The setting is similar to an English garden, so we recommend clothing that is light, comfortable, but also formal for the occasion.

What's the weather like in Minneapolis?

This is our favorite time of year in Minneapolis! Plan for warmer summer attire, the weather is usually between the mid 70's to high 80's. This season has been especially stormy so a rain jacket is a great accompaniment. Our ceremony will be indoors in the event of inclement weather. Bring some sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat or two in order to prevent any unexpected sunburns!
